Captain's Duties

• Get to know and be in contact with leaders of all Rock Ministries. (Baby Rock, etc…)
• Organize and coordinate ministry tables at major events
• Provides opportunities for men to develop a common bond by planning specific gatherings
• One year commitment to the ministry
• Motivate men to take an active role in ministry at The Rock
• Maintain/Stay within budget for entertainment/promotions.
• Encourage and support existing Men’s ministries
• Outline criteria for Baby Rock ministries to be featured at events
• Church-wide leader event (January/February)
• Organize and maintain database and E-mail list
• Set up and maintain the Men of the Rock website
  
• Coordinate with all capitans to promote awareness of happenings within the Men of the Rock
• Enlist data-entry, writers, and website administration to maintain all aspects of communication
• Coordinates with Rock I.T. staff for Web links to/from the Rock Web site and database support
• Budget for printing expenses, mailings, graphics
• Plan for changes and updates within the field of general technology (Upgrades, etc.)
• Design and update a regular Men of the Rock information brochure
• Update and send out survey after each major event
• Schedule outside media
• Check MOTR voicemail and reply
• Organize database to highlight new men
