Captain's Duties

• Must be able to plan, organize, budget, and enlist Men of the Rock for all major events of the ministry. (Example: Retreat, Men’s Breakfast’s, Paintball, Athletics, etc.)
• Promotes Men’s Ministry events by informing The Rock Sunday Events Coordinator to be placed in the bulletin/Rock TV
• Stay within budget (expenses, income, giveaways)
• Raises money for major events as necessary
  (Has someone responsible to do the fundraising)
• Enlists enough men to serve each facet of an event (Sign-ups, Set-up/Break-Down, Tables)
• Events/Budget for the following year must be planned and submitted by November 1st
• Coordinate with all Capitans to carry out Men’s events and promote other areas of the Men’s Ministry
• One year commitment to the ministry
• Organize speakers, worship band, food, etc.
  a. Coordinate audio/video
  b. Book worship
  c. Agenda of event
• Book retreat locale, speaker, workshops, agenda, folders, welcome gifts, T-shirts
• Format and generate the Men of the Rock calendar for mass mailing/E-mails
