Hello MOTR:
God was very busy last year and blessed us with a great deal of answered prayers.
The Men’s Retreat in December was UNBELIEVABLE! …Lots of snow and fun for all. The Workshops were great and the Worship & Fellowship was even better.
We were glad to be a part of this retreat and it was TRULY AWESOME to see a lot of brothers there.
Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord and Savior:
Bless all the MOTR and put a hedge of protection around all our brothers and their families and friends. Help them to spend more time in Your Word and in prayer with You. Help them to reach out to witness to someone AT LEAST once a week this year and help them to be a better witness and reflection of You Lord Jesus.
Help the MOTR to put on the whole Armor of God each and every day. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Heavenly Father; love, comfort encourage and heal our brothers. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray these things, Amen.
Worship: “When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: ‘Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.’ This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.” Hebrews 12:26-28
Obedience: So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. You must live as God’s obedient children. Do not slip back into your old sinful ways of living and by doing so fulfill the desires of the flesh.
You must be Holy in everything you do, just as God who is holy chose you! For the Scriptures say, “be holy because I am holy.”
Remember that the heavenly Father to whom we pray to has no favorites. He will judge and reward us according to what we do. Live in reverent fear of Him during this time as “foreigners in the Land.”
Strength: “Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Josh. 1:9
It was great seeing some of you men at Dunamis. Our Prayer is that all the men will come the last Tuesday of each month with friends and family to worship our Lord in prayer.
Remember that Saturday Morning Prayer is open to everyone as well from 8:00-9:15am in the Prayer Chapel at church.
