Captains Duties
- Organize a group of mighty men to blanket the Men of the Rock,
its ministry, and its leaders in prayer
- Submit prayer needs to the Rock Church Prayer Coordinator
- Coordinate with the Rock Church Prayer Coordinator for the monthly
Dunamis ministry
- Enlist as many men as possible to pray regularly
- Enlist a core team to pray for Pastor Miles
- Promote regular men’s prayer activity
- One year commitment to the ministry
- Budget for prayer events and any resources
- Holds quarterly prayer workshops to teach men how to be effective
in prayer
- Lead prayers/prayer activities at all major MOTR events
- Be a representative to the San Diego regional planning sessions
for the National Day of Prayer events. Assist with the Rock Church
implementation of National Day of Prayer events.
- He should ensure that all major MOTR cabinet meetings are bathed
in prayer before each session. Then he should attend each meeting
to provide prayerful support during and after these sessions.
- Supervise all activities of the prayer lieutenants under his
charge.
- Alpha team and MOTR leaders come forward at the end of each
breakfast to be available to pray for men.
